Yangon, 6 March — Senior General Than Shwe, Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council of the Union of Myanmar, has sent a message of felicitations to His Excellency Mr John Agyekum Kufuor, President of the Republic of Ghana, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Ghana which falls on 6 March 2006.
